Obby course planner

Choose platform count and spacing, inspect a top-down layout, then export the geometry as Luau. Start small and playtest every gap.

8 platforms. 92 studs from the first edge to the last edge.

This is a top-down geometry preview. Gaps are inputs, not guaranteed jump distances. Test with your character settings and target devices.

Inspect the generated code
-- Generated course geometry. Run in the Roblox Studio Command Bar.
-- This creates anchored platforms only, not checkpoints or a complete game.
local old = workspace:FindFirstChild("ObbyCoursePrototype")
if old then old:Destroy() end
local course = Instance.new("Folder")
course.Name = "ObbyCoursePrototype"
course.Parent = workspace
for i = 1, 8 do
    local platform = Instance.new("Part")
    platform.Name = "Stage" .. i
    platform.Anchored = true
    platform.Size = Vector3.new(8, 1, 8)
    platform.Position = Vector3.new(0, 5, (i - 1) * 12)
    platform.Color = Color3.fromRGB(13, 78, 241)
    platform.Parent = course
end

Use the layout in Studio

  1. Save a copy of your place. The generated script replaces only the folder named ObbyCoursePrototype.
  2. Open Studio’s Command Bar, inspect the downloaded file, and paste its contents.
  3. Move your spawn beside the first platform. Test jumps, camera visibility, and recovery after a fall.
  4. Add checkpoints, hazards, and a finish condition separately.

This tool generates anchored parts. It does not simulate Roblox physics, validate jump reach, or publish a game.
