Gross estimate before taxes, payment-method fees, or foreign-exchange fees. The calculator does not determine DevEx eligibility, assign a rate to your balance, or guarantee a payout.
Gross estimate only. Your balance must be Earned Robux, Roblox decides which rate applies, and every request is reviewed. The estimate does not include taxes, payment or foreign-exchange fees, and it does not determine whether you qualify for DevEx.
Rates explained
Current Roblox DevEx rates
A DevEx cash-out can contain balances that belong to different rate categories. Use the calculator on each eligible bucket separately instead of applying the highest rate to your full Robux balance.
Roblox says old-rate Earned Robux must be cashed out before current-rate Earned Robux. Spending Robux reduces your total balance but does not clear the old-rate bucket first.
Eligibility
Earned Robux and the 30,000 minimum
Roblox defines Earned Robux as eligible earnings created by adding value to the platform. Examples include compliant game-pass and developer-product sales, subscriptions, private servers, Creator Rewards, Creator Store sales, and Marketplace avatar-item earnings.
- Be at least 13 years old
- Have at least 30,000 Earned Robux
- Use a Roblox-verified email address
- Have a valid DevEx Portal account
- File a W-9 or W-8 tax form as applicable
- Remain compliant with Roblox rules
Purchased Robux, Roblox subscription grants, gift-card redemptions, transfers received from other users, and trading or resale proceeds are examples that do not qualify. Roblox retains discretion over what counts and reviews each request when submitted.
FAQ
Robux to USD and DevEx questions
How much is 100,000 Robux worth through DevEx?
At the current standard rate of $0.0038 per Earned Robux, 100,000 eligible Earned Robux is a gross estimate of $380 USD. The legacy $0.0035 rate would be $350, while the special $0.0054 category would be $540 only if those earnings qualify.
What is the minimum amount for Roblox DevEx?
Roblox requires at least 30,000 Earned Robux in your account to submit a DevEx request. At the current standard $0.0038 rate, that is a gross estimate of $114 USD. Reaching the minimum does not guarantee approval.
Does every Robux in my balance count as Earned Robux?
No. Purchased Robux, monthly subscription grants, gift-card Robux, trading or resale proceeds, and several other sources are not Earned Robux. Roblox decides whether Robux qualifies and reviews every cash-out request.
Who gets the $0.0054 Roblox DevEx rate?
The higher rate applies only to certain Earned Robux in eligible games from purchases of developer products, passes, subscriptions, and private servers made by U.S. players whose age is verified as at least 18 through facial age estimation or government ID. It is about the qualifying transaction, not simply the creator selecting a rate.
Do I owe taxes on a Roblox DevEx payout?
Taxes may apply depending on your country and circumstances. Roblox requires a W-9 for U.S. taxpayers or a W-8 for non-U.S. taxpayers as part of DevEx eligibility. This calculator shows a gross USD estimate and is not tax advice.
